Why did I receive a crawler error message?

Once a day, our crawler (or bot) checks the URLs of the bookings to see whether the current bookings are correctly integrated. When a problem arises, you will receive a message in your customer account (and via email). The email will contain more detailed information about the cause and troubleshooting measures.

The most common causes are the non-availability of the booked website as well as problems with the integrated links. The corresponding crawler errors are e.g. a wrong destination URL, wrong or incorrect link texts, unwanted redirects or wrong link options.

A crawler error means that your booking is currently not integrated correctly. You should therefore fix the problem as quickly as possible. After a few days, or in case of recurrence, the Advertiser has the option to cancel the booking with longer durations (Blogpost Blog Post,  Produkttest Product Test, Videopost Video Post, Digital News Digital News, Influencer Video Influencer Video, Textlinks Text links, Postlinks Post links). If the Advertiser cancels, you will lose your payment claims for the current service period.

We guarantee visibility of the post for several days. Bookings with crawler errors are automatically cancelled and the booking amount is refunded to the advertiser.
