New name and revised service: teliad will become SeedingUp.

08. September 2014.

teliad will become SeedingUp. The Stuttgart-based online marketing service provider will offer all of its services under this name in the future.

The service portfolio of the agency has changed dramatically in the nine years since teliad was founded. Backlinks were exclusively negotiated In the early years. This year alone, half a dozen new products and services were developed and initiated, where the main emphasis was clearly on sustainable content marketing with individual texts, images and videos. The advertiser’s benefit lies in increased brand and product awareness, improved image, and direct traffic increase through visible presence on the websites of independent publishers, as well as additional downstream visibility effects. Publishers maintain their editorial independence, but receive a lucrative way to market their websites and blogs.

A few weeks ago, measures were taken by Google to stop link building, and in this regard teliad was identified as a “link network”. Contrary to many reports, however, a big effect on the offered websites and blogs failed to materialize. On one hand, this is partly due to the optimally protected product portfolio, and on the other, because it is not a link network. All publishers are independent, and there is no correlation between the offers of the publishers. All publishers and advertisers are completely free in their decisions making. The services of teliad were limited to negotiation between advertisers and publishers.
Also, our development as a content marketing provider plays a major role. SeedingUp provides content marketing that is fully compliant with the guidelines of search engines. Already, the majority of bookings on the marketplace according to these guidelines are carried out with nofollow. Advertisers, as well as publishers, still benefit from all the positive effects and enjoy complete continual discretion. In fact, products have been offered in the past on the marketplace that are considered critical by search engines. However, the entire range of service and product offerings has been revised in recent months and years, and what was once considered critical is now updated and further developed.

The previous brand name teliad (shorthand for Text Link Advertising) has not been an applicable name for some time, given that we have developed into a content marketing provider. Still, teliad is often perceived as a backlink marketplace, or even as a link network. The new name SeedingUp is based on the actual focus of the offer: Content marketing and the start of viral online marketing campaigns through content seeding.

Existing customers of teliad will surely get used to the new website (accessible under www.seedingup.com) quickly. Also, new customers will find it easy to use after registering for free.
